basis that the current contract ends on 30 September 2022 and any delay in

03/10/2022 - NORTH WALES MARKET STABILITY REPORT - DRAFT REPORT 2022 ref: 2082 Recommendations Approved
To provide an
overview of the North Wales Market Stability Report 2022 (MSR) (see Appendix
1), which has been produced as a requirement of the Social Services and
Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
A single regional draft
MSR must be produced for the North Wales Region and be approved by Full Council
for each of the 6 Local Authority (LA) areas and the Board of the Local Health
Board (LHB). The final version of the MSR will be going to the Regional
Partnership Board (RPB) for final sign off in November 2022 before being
submitted to Welsh Government.

22/09/2022 - PROCUREMENT OF ASBESTOS SURVEYING AND ANALYTICAL CONTRACT ref: 2071 Recommendations Approved
The decision was to obtain approval for Denbighshire County Council to
commence a procurement and enter into a works contract with an Asbestos
Surveying and Analytical Contractor. The purpose for requiring this approval
was due to the contract being bespoke and structured for a term of 12 months
with the opportunity to extend at intervals of 12 months to a maximum of 10 years’
dependant on performance.

decision relates to the procurement of dry recycling containers (Trollibocs) to
support the new waste model (kerbside sort). The decision enables a direct award
of contract to the supplier following a PIN Notice exercise in March 2022.
