26/08/2021 - PROCUREMENT OF NEW EARLY INTERVENTION PROJECT (HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION) ref: 1766 Recommendations Approved
We
want to commission a new early intervention project. This project will work to
prevent homelessness from much earlier on, through identifying and engaging
with people to prevent risk of homelessness, and through a programme of
awareness raising. The project will be funded by the Denbighshire Housing
Support Grant.
The
decision is about whether we can commence with the procurement of this project
(via an open tender process).

To agree to the commissioning of the Early Intervention Project (homelessness prevention).
24/08/2021 - REVISED REGULATIONS AND FEES FOR DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL CEMETERIES ref: 1765 Recommendations Approved
This decision is about a fee increase for all council controlled cemeteries to bring costs in line with neighbouring authorities, and also to introduce a new clause in the cemetery regulations to ensure that the families of Denbighshire residents are not penalised (by paying double fees) if a family member had to move outside of the county within the last two years of their life for healthcare or social care reasons

Decision:
To increase burial fees to bring Denbighshire’s fees in line with neighbouring authorities, and to amend the Cemetery Regulations so that the Denbighshire resident rates should be charged if the deceased had been living outside Denbighshire for less than 2 years before their death for healthcare or social care purposes.
