Purpose:
The
decision relates to the procurement of dry recycling containers (Trollibocs) to
support the new waste model (kerbside sort). The decision enables a direct award
of contract to the supplier following a PIN Notice exercise in March 2022.
Decision:
Agreed to award direct award of contract for the delivery of dry recycling containers to support the new waste model and that the decision is implemented immediately due to the risk of cost increase or delay to the delivery due to uncertain market factors.
Reasons for the decision:
To approve a direct award of contract to enable an
order to be placed for the new dry recycling containers and supplementary items
as detailed in Appendix 1 (Part 2 Item).
